Senior Care by County in the Columbus Metro
Seven counties, seven very different senior-care landscapes — from the state capital to farm country.
The Columbus metro spans a wide range of settings, and that matters when you're looking for senior care. Franklin County, anchored by Columbus itself, has by far the largest concentration of assisted living, memory care, and continuing care retirement communities in the region. The counties around it — Delaware, Fairfield, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, and Union — range from fast-growing affluent suburbs to genuinely rural farm country, and the number of verified senior-care options drops accordingly the farther out you go. We'd rather tell you that plainly than pad a county page with options that don't exist yet.
Pick a county below for an overview of its cities, its general senior-care landscape, and links to the specific cities and facilities we cover there. If you already know your city, our cities page may get you there faster.
